Vinton Holiday Lighted Parade

Bring the family for this wonderful hometown experience!

Come enjoy a wonderful nostalgic holiday parade in downtown Vinton! Parade begins at 6pm and can be watched along 4th Street in downtown Vinton.
The veterans will lead the parade followed by floats and vehicles covered by colorful holiday lights! Then the final thrill is seeing Santa coming to town on a big red firetruck! At the end of the parade follow Santa into the courthouse where he’ll greet children.

Vinton Unlimited, the chamber of commerce, will be handing out free hot cocoa (while supplies last). Downtown stores will be open this evening until 7pm for your holiday shopping.

Want to be in the parade? What a great idea! There’s no registration or registration fee needed. Line up will begin at 5:30pm on 6th Street to the east & south of Wesley United Methodist Church. All we ask is that there are please no Santas since he will already be visiting from the North Pole! Theme of the parade is Christmas or patriotic.
