Teresa Meyer

Term 2015 – Present

I am a Benton County native and graduated from Vinton High School.  After graduating from Iowa State University I taught school for 2 years and then started my insurance business. I currently belong to the Garrison Lions Club, St. Mark Lutheran Church, and the LaPorte City Chamber. My interests include gardening, fitness, and volunteering.

Being in business for 42 years with two office locations has given me the background and helpful insights that have benefited the Vinton Unlimited board. I have been on the Vinton Unlimited Board of Directors for several years representing businesses that provide a sale of service.

I like being a part of Vinton Unlimited because of the important role VU plays in the economy, growth, and recreation in our community.  I welcome the opportunity to continue to give back to a community that has given so much to me and I look forward to watching our town continue to grow and prosper.
